Oversized crewneck pullover. Worked from top down and in the round. Sleeves are sectioned off and worked after body. Short row shaping for back of neck and sides of body.

STITCH GLOSSARY

M1R (make 1 right): With LH needle, pick up bar in between stitches on LH and RH needle from back to front. Knit into the picked up stitch through the back loop—1 stitch increased.

M1L (make 1 left): With LH needle, pick up bar in between stitches on LH and RH needle from front to back. Knit into the picked up stitch through the front loop—1 stitch increased.

SHORT ROW WRAP & TURN (w&t) ON RS (WS)

Knit (purl) desired amount of stitches, slip next stitch, bring yarn to front (back). Turn work so you are ready to work a WS (RS) row. Slip stitch back to RH needle, and continue to purl (knit) in pattern.

PICKING UP WRAPS

Work to wrapped stitch. Lift wrap back onto LH needle. Knit (purl) the stitch and wrap together to hide the wrap.

NECK

With size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle 24in/60cm, cast on 24 (24, 24, 24, 25, 25) sts (half of front), place marker (pm), 18 (18, 20, 20, 22, 22) sts (sleeve), pm, 48 (48, 48, 48, 50, 50) sts (back), pm, 18 (18, 20, 20, 22, 22) sts (sleeve), pm, 24 (24, 24, 24, 25, 25) sts (half of front)—132 (132, 138, 138, 144, 144) sts. Place different colored marker to indicate beg of rnd, join to work in rnd, being careful not to twist.

Shape neck

Note: Shaping is worked using short rows. Pick up wraps on both RS and WS rows.

Row 1 (RS) (inc): [K to 1 st before marker, M1R, k1, slip marker (sm), k1, M1L] 4 times, k10, w&t—8 sts inc’d.

Row 2 (WS): [P to marker, sm] 4 times, p10, w&t.

Rows 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15: Rep row 1, working to 1 knit st past wrapped st, w&t.

Rows 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16: Rep row 2, working to 1 purl st past wrapped st, w&t.

Row 17: Rep row 3, DO NOT TURN, work to beg of rnd marker—204 (204, 208, 208, 216, 216) sts. 66 (66, 66, 66, 68, 68) sts for front and back, 36 (36, 38, 38, 40, 40) sts for each sleeve.
